CorTech is hiring a Maintenance Worker to join our client’s team in the Wichita KS area.
What to know about the Maintenance Worker role:
- Weekly Pay
- Pay rate: $25.00 hourly
- Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday OR 3rd Shift Sunday to Thursday
- 1st Shift 6:00am to 4:30pm or 3rd Shift 6pm to 4:30am.
- Great team environment
- Steel Toed Shoes Required
- Comply with appropriate written procedures and work instructions
- Possess Has basic technical aptitude, reading, writing, math and computer skills
- Uses analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to perform minor plant equipment repairs.
- Works to achieve established plant quality and safety objectives.
- Ensures the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exception.
- Inspects machinery.
- Knowledge of checking machine equipment for proper performance and detect faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment to determine the required repair.
- Write technical reports:
- Experience with composing technical customer reports.
- Perform machine maintenance
- Familiarity with perform regular maintenance, possibly including corrections and alterations.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to work in a loud and noisy area
- Has the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
